Question of the day??

Maybe I should rename my blog "Question of the Day" instead of Stupid Stuff of the Day. Lately all I've been doing is asking questions...questioning others, but mostly of myself.

Just stupid period....

Disclaimer...I'm not the smartest man in the world, nor have I ever claimed to be.

But this is a no brainer.

We have a newly elected president Mr. Barack Obama. What he is trying to accomplish and the task in front of him is monumental to say the least. With the economy, education, healthcare, etc..in the toilet this job is damn near impossible for anyone.

What I don't understand or what's just plain stupid is...you will not let this man's plan take effect before you criticize it. Bush spent ridiculous amounts of money on everything from padding the oil companies pockets to the war in Iraq or where ever else his dumb ass sent our troops.

Obama is trying to fix an old problem as well as implement a solution. Let him work! W had 8 years to thoroughly fuck it up. Please give Obama at least 4 years to try and clean it up, or at the very least make it look and smell a lot better.

How much is happiness worth???

Happiness has many different levels... you could be happy with your career, happy in your relationship, or just happy to be alive. I've noticed in life happiness comes at a cost. Directly or indirectly. Sometimes someone else has to be unhappy for you to be happy. If you received that sought after promotion and a co-worker who happens to be a good friend did not, there goes there happiness right out the window. Which leads to another form of happiness. Someone being happy for you. Most of the time I seriously doubt that they are, but that's a topic for another day.

So what price would you pay or are willing to let someone else pay to make sure that you had one of those three forms or any form of happiness???

When do you know you've had enough?????

Is it when your effort isn't anywhere near 100%? Is it when you dread doing something that you previously loved to do? Is it when the smallest task seem so monumental? Is it when just the sight makes you visibly upset? Is it when that pep in your step has become a slight but steady drag???
Or Is it that you don't have or notice any of the symptoms above....because you've become so numb that you don't have any feelings at all.
